A shopping complex in South Kolkata's Dhakuria experienced a fire incident that caused panic among visitors. The fire broke out around 12:30 pm in a Khadi Gramodyog shop located on the first floor of the complex situated in the Dakshinapan area.

As the fire spread in the shop, panic increased among visitors, and the safety of the people in the complex became a top priority. The situation was brought under control by the timely arrival of two fire tenders that rushed to the spot to put out the fire.

The firefighters are currently trying to bring the fire under control and are keeping a close eye on the situation to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby shops.
